The Wood Element is associated with spring and the liver organ system, which includes the liver’s partner organ, the gallbladder. This means that their energy is at its peak in spring. Building the health of your liver in spring helps to maintain the balance of your whole body during this season and creates a healthy foundation for summer.

Lose yourself and find yourself for a little while in the effortless moving meditations that are the Qigong flows.
A foundational practice with a flow set that moves "chi" in every direction and through every major meridian, strengthening and balancing the body. We’ll start with our regular Daoyin-style standing stretches, and progress to the five flowing tai chi like movements, each one replicating a different element of nature. 5 Element Qigong is a great daily practice and students will be sent a video they can do at home following the class.

Qi Gong has many tools for cultivating a long, fulfilling, and energized life. Let's gather together on this last day of 2022, and set a collective intention for getting "energetically" fit in 2023!
Focusing on exercises that clear and strengthen the lung channel, the meridians associated with the metal element and fall - clearing out old ways and unresolved issues, and letting go of built up grief—leaving an open space within which new ideas and emotions take shape
Come feel the power and mystery of your Qi. Qigong uses mind, breath and movement to draw us into the present moment, cultivating more freedom and ease in our bodies, and more moments of wonder and awe in our lives.
Qigong is the art of breathing, posture and movement to build and circulate Qi (vital energy). This week we continue with our focus on quieting the mind and accessing the flow state. Get ready to wake up your qi with some gentle yet powerful stretches, and smooth out its flow through the internal organs with slow, fluid, meditative movements.
A well-rounded class to release stress, increase energy, and balance the major meridian channels in the body. When qi is not flowing smooth can feel overwhelmed or overexerted more easily. With balance comes inner strength and softer feelings of warm heartedness & joy.
